Ariel Levi: Biography

When they say about a person that “the profession chose him”, without a doubt they mean Ariel Levi. The parents of the award-winning racing driver testify that even before he took his first steps and started walking, he already started crawling towards his stroller and playing with wheels.

Already at the age of two, he knew how to recite orally about a type of car, about its different models, and he only wanted to walk around the streets of Tel Aviv, his hometown, with the aim of closely examining the cars parked on the sides of the street, and looking eagerly at the vehicles traveling on the road.

Since the fields of motor sports are not particularly developed in Israel, it was only when he reached the age of mitzvah that he first became acquainted with driving a kart. What started as a hobby, soon became a profession, when the boy’s extraordinary talent could not be ignored.

At the very beginning of his career in the field, he was sent to compete in the Israeli league, and took the course by storm, while achieving every possible title in the field – from outstanding athlete to champion of Israel, a title he won four years in a row.

In 2015, he was sent to train in Greece, but since, unlike his rivals, boys who started training in professional tracks from the age of four, he had almost no experience, he had to quickly make up the gap. Levi succeeded in the enormous challenge, thanks to his rare talent, tremendous will power, discipline and adherence to the goal.

When Levi talks about sticking to the goal, he means it, and he proved it well when, for four years in a row, he won the title of “Israeli Karting Champion”, between 2017-2020.

In 2017, he competed in the European Championship, and also in the French Championship, where he took second place, which gave him the title of “Vice Champion of France”. Also, that year, he competed in the “LAS VEGAS SUPERNATIONALS”, the prestigious American go-kart race, and took tenth place out of 40 competitors.

In 2018, he returned to Israel in order to finish high school and fulfill his civic duty – to enlist in the IDF. Upon graduation from high school, he was selected as an outstanding athlete by the Minister of Culture and Sports.

Later, he enlisted in the IDF and served full service in the Air Force, and even received a badge of distinction for his performance in the force, for two years in a row. As fate would have it, no international competitions and races took place during this period, since the Corona epidemic spread throughout the world.

At the end of his military service, he flew to Greece to try driving a “Porsche Gitti 3”. Sometimes the stars line up, and without a doubt, Levi was in the right place and at the right time, because at exactly that time, a representative of Forsch Germany visited the track, who was amazed by his extraordinary talent and was especially surprised to find out that this was Levi’s first attempt at this track. As a skilled businessman, the representative of the car giant wasted no time, and hurried to hit the spot – within about an hour, Levi had an email with a contract from Forash, and the rest is history.

In 2022, she competed in no less than 16 competitions in the prestigious German league, and in three “Super Cup” competitions. Levi also won three trophies, when he took third place among the young drivers.

During the winter of 2023, he is expected to compete in the prestigious competition “Forest Sprint Challenge Middle East” – the Middle East League, and in the summer he will compete in the “Carrera Cup” Germany.

Looking ahead – until 2028, Levi intends to win the title of German champion and advance to driving the Gitti 3, competing in the DTM, the German Touring Car Championship as well as in “The 24 Hours of Le Mans”, the annual race held in the French city, and in the 24 The hours of the American city of Daytona, which is known as the pioneer of the field and more. In all of these he strives to face and lead, when he brilliantly wears the uniform of the Porosh company.
